Kindergarten Learn to Play
Instructional programs for Kindergartners and young beginners. Join coaches and experienced players for skills based sessions to get the stick in their hands early and often!
Ages
5-7 years old
When
The program runs from May-June. The day of the week is TBD based on coach availability.
Where
Pottle Street practice fields
Practices
This age will be skills based with small side games as appropriate based on skill level.
Games
Games are integrated with practice at this age group depending on skills and equipment.
Jerseys
Pinnies will be provided at the first practice. No additional uniform needs to be ordered.
Frequently Asked Questions
What equipment will my player need?
Mouth guard, stick and water bottles are required for both boys and girls.
Boys--Helmet optional (skills only without a helmet), Gloves are recommended
Girls--Eye goggles are required
A few loaner sticks are available to be used during practice. These are at the fields already.
When will games be played?
Games are incorporated into the practice at this age level
How can I help?
This is a perfect age to jump in and help coach, even if you have never played. Hands are very much appreciated at this age. Learn along with your player! Contact klaxinfo@gmail.com if you are interested in helping coach.
